ORGANIZATION HISTORY & LEADERSHIP

Victoria Oguagha founded Nataleigh House of Hope in 2019 to support the women in her community who needed resources beyond what was currently available in the community. Since the age of 16, Victoria has developed an understanding of what it means to be in the service of others. After volunteering in local community centers, and spending summers in youth support programs, she followed a life path of supporting others through outreach and community development. When working with youth, she realized how impressionable they are, how their parents’ lives, demeanors, and behaviors had an impact on their children. This understanding led her to the health field, where she has spent the better part of her career in hospital administration at Grady Hospital of Crestview.

Beyond Victoria’s professional experience in nonprofit services and health administration, she has personal experience with intimate partner violence. A domestic violence survivor herself, she knows firsthand the strength it takes to leave a life-threatening situation and, therefore, she understands how to support others through their transition to safe and stable lives.

Blending her professional knowledge and personal commitment, Victoria leads the day-to-day operations of Nataleigh House of Hope. She is supported by a cohort of local leaders committed to the growth and sustainability of Nataleigh House of Hope. Among them is Ronda Hughes, a healthcare professional who brings extensive knowledge via a 30-year career in case management and nursing services, In addition, Francis Oguagha, a United States Air Force Aerospace Engineer, whose business administration background and technical knowledge also supports the strategic direction of Nataleigh House of Hope.
